Airlines and Surfboards.

Airlines and Surfboards.
When i sit down and think about all the surftrips i've been on they're usually made up of mostly good times. Though the occassional broken surfboard doesn't rate too well. Especially if it happens on the plane. To build up with expectation and anticipation of surfing quality waves only to find out that once you unpack the surfboards from their carry bag they have the fins broken out or are even snapped in two. Now that's a bum start to any trip. I reckon that if airlines carry your stuff then they should be accountable for it, and if they damage it then they should replace or pay straight away, allowing you to go and buy a board that sameday. Or have your choice of board flown in on the next flight. A Surf travel company should have spare boards ready to go. So if they get an airlines call for a replacement board then bingo a brand new shooter delivered no matter where you are in the surfing worl
